the reveal of Star Wars Battlefront II a few weeks ago still has me buzzing. Yoda is one of my personal favorite characters in the Star Wars universe and i am geeking dafuq out that he made it into the sequel.
For Honor is one of the most refreshing new titles to be released this year so far. the combat system is deep and the PVP matches are brutal and exciting. i'm totally addicted.

Valeria is a very motherly hen, who has raised scores of chickens and fostered many other birds around her farm. A very traditional bird, she values manners and good morals highly -- to the point where it is not unknown for her to lecture everyone and anyone about how a proper being should behave. She also has a heart of gold, and a colloquial country vernacular to boot.
Rouge is a fox, native to the forests closer to Mt Etna. Naturally, she wouldn't normally be found in the city. For reasons she will not easily disclose, she has come all the way to the city in order to search for someone -- whether a friend or beloved, she remains tightly-lipped about. Either way, Rouge is a fox who speaks very little about herself. She is fantastic at dodging questions and could probably take home a gold medal in talking circles around topics she does not wish to discuss. Rouge is not afraid to get her hands (or paws, technically) dirty and is the sort of fox who prefers to let her actions speak over her words. So taking that into consideration, although Rouge can appear quite self-serving, for those causes she dedicates herself to, she will stop at nothing to see them to the end.
Minerva is a Little Owl (as in the species, not literally just a small owl). She is a messenger and helper of Athena. Want help from her? You'll get it, just expect a healthy side order of sarcasm to go with it. Minerva was sent to look after Cassandra, but she is not thrilled with a babysitting assignment. She's capable and very knowledgeable -- but everything comes with grumbling and snarky jokes to keep herself amused while stuck on a job she considers below her. Underneath all the sass, though, she does have a caring and benevolent heart -- otherwise she wouldn't have gotten into the job to begin with.
Lito is a Quaker parrot - designated to be one of the game's healer classes. He lives in a feral population of Quaker parrots in a park. He is a third-generation wild bird -- his grandparents were pets and he's grown up listening to their stories about their time living with humans. As a result, he's become rather obsessed with humans and wants nothing else but to be adopted by a human and live a pampered pet life. His wild brothers and sisters think he's a bit of an oddball for wanting to give up his freedom, though. Unfortunately, it's not common practice for people to adopt stray birds like it is stray cats and dogs! Lito is also known to stutter when excited.
Gerald the seagull is originally British, having traveled far to Sicily, his favorite place for whatever reason. He is well-traveled and knowledgeable about various trivia. Instead of being erudite in his mannerisms though he is actually a bit rough, like a sailor.
Cerberus' Lieutenant, Cyrus, is a straight-laced, no-beating-around-the-bush, and very practical character. He's a large Doberman breed and very loyal to Cerberus. The sort that would probably go out of his way to repay a debt or protect one's honour.
the fourth in a character series i'm developing for a turn-based video game with a small group of people, this is Cerberus. here's a small character description from the writer on the project:
Cerberus isn't a stereotypical big black wolf-dog -- in fact, almost the opposite. He's a tiny little scruffy black terrier mix. Cerberus has three distinct personality lines as a homage to his namesake, but on the whole he's quite rough around the edges and hardened from his time as a stray.
the third in a character series for an independent gaming project, this is Cassandra. character description from the writer on the project:
Cassandra herself is a fairly naive and sheltered indoor kitty, but has the occasional uncanny insight that her ability gives her. She's very gentle and tolerant physically, but also very vocal when something is wrong according to her.
the second in a character series for an independent gaming project, this is Artemis, who is the twin sister of Apollo (weekly ink #125), except a whole lot sassier. character description from the writer on the project:
Artemis is Apollo's twin sister, and she is also stuck in a swan's body for the same fiasco, for which she rightly blames her brother. She is especially vicious and has somehow managed to hunt even in this body. She doesn't like males much.
a throwback to the 90s, this is some fanart for the original Toejam & Earl game on Genesis..
