this looks way too cool for school.
this is the third (and best imo) trailer for Spiderman: Homecoming releasing this July.
first trailer for the Netflix/Marvel team-up series featuring - Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones & Iron Fist
the reveal of Star Wars Battlefront II a few weeks ago still has me buzzing. Yoda is one of my personal favorite characters in the Star Wars universe and i am geeking dafuq out that he made it into the sequel.
This is the teaser trailer for Marvel/Netflix's new Iron Fist series. It was unveiled at this years San Diego Comic Con. This is the last member to round off the Defenders street level hero team that Marvel has been putting together over the past few years on Netflix. The full team includes: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and the Immortal Iron Fist
Been loving Marvel's street level hero series on Netflix. This includes both amazing seasons of Daredevil and the surprise hit, Jessica Jones. After only getting a taste of the unbreakable-skinned hero (originally called "Power Man") in the Jessica Jones series, we now have our first look at the latest series for Luke Cage. It comes out September 30th and features a 90s hip-hop score!
i'm a huge fan of the British Office televeision series and Ricky Gervais, so i'm really looking forward to seeing this film next year.
everybody can use a little more David Brent in their lives, right?
this was probably more of a surprise to me, rather than deserving of a "best of E3" title. this comes partly due to the fact that we haven't seen any major Marvel game releases recently, and what we have seen in the past few years has been mediocre at best. seeing Marvel partner with a studio like Insomniac (Ratchet & Clank, the Resistance series, Sunset Overdrive), tells me they are finally starting to approach their character properties in gaming with a higher regard to who publishes them. i'm also kind of surprised at this game coming exclusively to PS4, sorry xbox and wii u owners.
many will argue and say that this not a "best of E3" reveal, while also complaining at how non-Resident Evil it is. i was particularly intrigued all the way through the reveal and was only surprised by the Resident Evil logo appearing at the end. it looks like a truly haunting survival horror experience, even after i played the teaser demo (free to download for PS+ members now on PSN), i was still feeling chills. so i'm really looking forward to it. it's too early to tell how it ties into the previous installments, hopefully they can find a clever way to execute that.
i saw this game revealed as a multiplayer focused trailer at E3 last year. this year, they released a story driven campaign trailer, which looks quite epic.
you got it, dude.
Platinum Games just released a trailer for a new TMNT game that is looking totally radical. hopefully it's a change of pace from the past handful of sub-par turtles game releases.
a new series coming to Netflix this year to keep an eye on..
told through the lives and music of a ragtag crew of South Bronx teens, The Get Down is a mythic saga of the transformation of 1970s New York City.
and here it is! our first look at Marvel's Captain America: Civil War and more importantly, Black Panther!
the second trailer released for Jessica Jones airing exclusively on Netflix looks very promising. can't wait to stream all episodes at once on Nov. 20th and see how it ties into the Daredevil series.
one of my favorite creative and stylistically driven filmmakers, Guillermo del Toro, is releasing a seasonably suitable film within the horror genre this friday. may it be a peak worth reaching?
Mars has been highly considered by many to be the "first Earth" in our solar system. it took only one monumental moment, billions and billions of years ago, when something destroyed Mars surface and atmosphere, preventing it from sustaining life. that's of course not to say, that there was no trace of life before or after this cataclysmic event..
today, scientists and astronauts are delving deeper and getting even closer to cracking the mystery of Mars, adamantly seeking an understanding of what caused it's planetary deconstruction. I believe they are hoping it will unlock new ways to help prevent a similar fate here on Earth, should it arise while our species reside here.
in Ridley Scott's new film, The Martian, releasing in October, we find a solitary astronaut fighting to sustain his life on the inhospitable surface of Mars. while i do particularly love this director for his science fiction oriented films, i'm actually hoping for a more realistic approach on this one.
i'm really looking forward to seeing Ant-man this weekend! i'm not the biggest fan of his character, not sure that anyone really is (the Hank Pym version in the comics is a bit of an ass). nonetheless, it's shaping up to be Marvel's tiny, heartfelt, little engine that could.
